Hi, I’m Megan. I grew up in Saskatchewan, spending much of my time outdoors. From canoeing the Churchill River to backpacking through the Grasslands, I gained an appreciation for natural spaces and a deep understanding of their importance. My educational background is in the environmental sciences, and I am an experienced and passionate grassroots organizer with a demonstrated history of working and volunteering in the environmental non-profit sector.

I was a key organizer of 2013’s Saskatchewan Citizens’ Hearings on Climate Change, and I have attended (somewhat disconcertedly) the United Nations Climate Change Negotiations four times. I actively educate—and learn—about advocacy, social justice, and sustainability.

When I’m not working in solidarity, I loves cuddling with my cat Juniper, cruising around on my bike, taking photos (blogging/flickr), writing lists, and reading books.
